Talking to Communicate

Knowing what to say, communicating what you know, and understanding what you hear is a critical part of being a pilot. Many pilots use local lore (or what they are taught) for communicating, which fails when they venture to other destinations. The FAA has evolved the language to add safety and comprehension to our radio calls, this presentation will cover many of the basics necessary for modern effective communications. The material is presented in a scenario format to allow discussion of the topics and answers. See how many you get right!
