Fuel Risk Management remains one of the most important responsibilities of every pilot and continues to be a contributing factor in many preventable aviation accidents. Even experienced pilots can encounter fuel exhaustion or fuel starvation situations when planning errors, distractions, or changing flight conditions are not properly managed. This seminar will review ADM and Practical Methods for planning fuel requirements, monitoring fuel consumption during flight, and recognizing early warning signs of fuel-related issues. Participants will discuss common causes of fuel mismanagement, including improper fuel planning, inaccurate assumptions, and failure to verify fuel quantity. Real-world examples will be presented to help pilots understand how fuel-related accidents develop and how proper planning and decision making can prevent them. A good opportunity to improve your fuel management skills and get your questions answered as well!
