Annual Celebration of Generations Pow Wow hosted by the Sauk-Suiattle Indian Tribe at the Sauk-Suiattle Pow Wow Grounds on the reservation north of Darrington. Cultural celebration featuring traditional dancing, drumming, singing, food, and crafts, open to the public. Nearest airport is Darrington Municipal (1S2), a day-VFR field with no fuel or services; pilots should top off before arrival and bring tie-downs. Ground transportation required from airport to grounds. Town offers food, coffee, grocery store, and lodging at Darrington Motor Inn. Visitors welcome to attend respectfully as guests.
