Fly into Darrington Municipal (1S2) for Rock the Mountain, a three-day classic rock festival at Darrington Music Park in a forest amphitheater at the foot of Whitehorse Mountain. Run by the Whitehorse Musicians Guild, the 2026 lineup is headlined by Head East, with tributes to Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bob Seger, Pink Floyd, and more. Features camping, workshops, food, local crafts, beer garden, Rockin' Wheels contest, and campsite awards. Airport is day-VFR with no fuel or services top off before arrival and bring tie-downs. Music park is a few miles west of town; plan a folding bike or ride. Town offers restaurants, coffee, grocery store, and Darrington Motor Inn nearby. Most attendees camp on festival grounds. Bring camp chair, layers for cool mountain nights, and sun protection. August 15 17, 2026.
