SocialFlight Live! - FAA Surgeon General Dr Susan Northrup on the future of Aviation Medicine
Dr. Susan E. Northrup is the FAA’s Federal Air Surgeon, responsible for the direction and management of all FAA medical programs, from policy, to aerospace medical and human factors research, to what is probably the top priority for many of tonight’s viewers: airman certification. Dr. Northrup is a retired U.S. Air Force colonel who was previously Head of the United States’ Delegation to NATO's aeromedical working group. She is also an active private pilot with a passion for general aviation, living on an airpark and flying her stunning Stearman and the Canadian version of the T6 Texan T6: the Harvard. It's another inspirational episode of SocialFlight Live!
