To mark 55 years of serving the skies, Waltrip Williamsburg Executive Airport is hosting a celebratory airshow this September, bringing together aviation enthusiasts, local families, and pilots from across the region. The airshow will feature the Full Throttle Formation Team, Rooster Aerobatics, Misty Blues All Woman Skydiving Team, Go EZ Aerobatics, Franklin Flying Circus, Marco Bouw and NextGen Aerobatics Team. The headliner for the airshow was to be stunt pilot Rob Holland, who lost his life earlier this year in an accident ahead of the Joint Base Langley-Eustis Air Power over Hampton Roads airshow. The Williamsburg airshow will honor Holland s life and legacy.
