At non-towered airports how much should you trust other aircraft talking to you in the pattern. Trust and verify was and is a good policy to make sure you don't become a conflict in the pattern or try to takeoff without knowing who really is on final. Have you ever had confusing radio calls in the traffic pattern? EAA/VMC Club, through the EAA's global Chapter structure, provides organized "hangar flying" focused on building flying knowledge and skills. The program's network promotes a safety culture through continued education through safety and proficiency and real life experience. Monthly meetings offer an opportunity to share in-flight experiences and valuable safety tips. Through the FAA Safety Program, aviation professionals provide informative WINGS presentations.
