2025 GENESEO AIRSHOW PREVIEW The Greatest Show on Turf Returns: 2025 Geneseo Airshow to Honor the Battles of the Pacific on July 12 & 13, 2025 Geneseo, NY July 12 & 13, 2025 The skies over Geneseo will once again be filled with the sights and sounds of history and cutting-edge aviation as the 44th annual 2025 Geneseo Airshow, "The Greatest Show on Turf," takes flight. In 2025, we will bring to life the Battles of the Pacific during the year of the 80th Anniversary of VJ Day. This special commemoration will include a recreation of the infamous attack on Pearl Harbor by Japanese aircraft featuring the "Tora Tora Tora team, pyrotechnics, and a powerful narrative. This thrilling performance is sure to transport spectators back to that pivotal moment in history. The airshow will also feature a tribute to the legendary Doolittle Raid with a stunning formation of B-25 bombers. Our C-47 "Whiskey 7," along with other C-47s, will take to the skies representing flying "The Hump" over the treacherous Himalayas to supply Allied forces in the Pacific theater, connecting past and present in a powerful way. Additionally, there will be a spectacular aerial display of aircraft honoring the historic Tokyo Bay Flyover, celebrating the victory that ended the war. In addition to these historic tributes, attendees will be treated to a dazzling array of classic warbirds and modern aviation, including the legendary P-40, the mighty P-51, the iconic Corsair and more. The precision aerobatics of world champion Rob Holland will leave the crowd breathless with his high-energy routines. Many additional performers including military demos are still to be announced!! From the roar of vintage engines to the heart-pounding aerobatics, the 2025 Geneseo Airshow will be a celebration of aviation's rich history and its promising future.
