IMC Club Monthly Meeting - Bremerton

IMC Club (Tacoma Narrows-Bremerton) meets monthly for guided discussions (also known as "hangar talks") focused on real scenarios which call for tough decisions in the real world IFR environment. As we discuss the monthly scenario, we share ideas and safety tips on how best to deal with specific IFR challenges. Our objective: continually improve proficiency in IFR flying. Pilots of all skill levels and experience from student pilot to ATP are welcome. Our scenario this month includes an visual approach (into the sun) with your destination airport not in sight at 5 miles out, even though it is reporting VFR. Should you convert your visual approach to a full IAP, ask for a contact approach, or cancel IFR? We'll discuss your options!!
