Chapter 919 will hold its next meeting on Saturday morning, May 18, at the Winona Airport. This is an open gathering so feel free to invite anyone with an interested in aviation. This month, Edward Chapman will return as our guest speaker. Ed has a distinguished career as both a military and civilian airline pilot. He is also a record setting balloonist and was inducted into the Minnesota Aviation Hall of Fame in 2017. The focus this month will be on hot air ballooning. Weather permitting, Ed will inflate his hot air balloon on a nearby grassy area. Pop, water, and snacks will be provided. RSVPs are appreciated but not required.
