Medical, law enforcement, military, fire fighters, private industry all utilize helicopters in day to day operations and can frequently be encountered throughout the NAS Craig Tompkins will discuss the often unseen hazards of helicopter wake turbulence both on ground and in air, and the importance of situational awareness when operating in their vicinity Mr. Tompkins has been with the FAA for the last 10yrs and has an extensive aviation background dating back 3 decades Bring your EFB, your experience, and your questions, and be ready to participate. All are welcome. You do not need to be an EAA member to attend. Qualifies for WINGs credit.
