The Frederick Municipal Airport, and our airport users, invite the Frederick community out to the airport to experience the aircraft that fly here, the organizations that meet here, and the businesses that operate here. Experience the Frederick Airport through aircraft on display and in flight, explore opportunities on how to get involved with aviation, and meet the people and businesses that are based at Frederick. We will also be hosting local food trucks and vendors during the event. Schedule Event Hours 9:00AM - 4:00PM EAA Pancake Breakfast: 9:00AM to 11:00AM Enjoy a pancake breakfast in the EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) hangar. See the aircraft that they're building and meet EAA members. Donation required for pancake breakfast. RC Aircraft Demonstration: 10:00AM to 10:45AM Experience a radio controlled (RC) aircraft demonstration. RC Airplanes up to 1:4 scale will be flying for the crowd. Maryland State Police Trooper 3 Demonstration: 1:00PM to 1:45PM See Trooper 3 conduct a Search and Rescue drill involving a hoist demonstration! Confirmed Static/Stationary Aircraft: WWII Warbird: B-25 "Panchito" Maryland State Police's Trooper 3 AW-139 Helicopter Maryland Army National Guard UH-60 Blackhawk Socata Epsilons MedStar EC-135 Helicopter Robinson R-22 Helicopter Various FDK Based Aircraft
