We will be reviewing five aviation accidents in detail. All the accidents have two things in common. First, the accidents occurred in Nebraska and second, the accidents primary causal factor was loss of control. Loss of Control is the number one cause of aviation accidents in the state of Nebraska, and they are almost always fatal. We will exam how loss of control happened in each accident, address other factors, and look at ways we can mitigate our own risk as pilots based on these case studies.
