Kent State University Safety Conference - 2024
Kent State University Safety Conference 2024 is an extraordinary event with an opportunity to meet and collaborate with industry professionals. Join us as subject matter experts in the field of aeronautics share their professional experience while operating in an often high-paced safety-critical environment. Learn how they work to identify and mitigate risk, and ensure safety is maintained at the highest level. The purpose of this event is to take a moment out of our busy lives and focus on safety with an opportunity to learn from the experiences of industry professionals. For Kent State University Flight Operations, this is where we "STAND-DOWN" (from flying) and devote entire day to SAFETY. Our objective is to enhance and renew attitudes about safety, reinforcing good habits, sharing best practices, and learn something new that will likely serve us well as we return to our professional endeavors. Speaking Sessions will be held at the College of Aeronautics and Engineering. Each session begins at 10:30 am, 12:00 pm, 1:30 pm, and 3:00 pm respectively and is scheduled for 1.5 hours, allowing for setup, introductions, presentation, conclusion and/or Q&A, with time allotted to move between rooms.
