The program will cover Milwaukees Kearny & Trecker Corporation and its production and marketing of a twin engine amphibian, named the Royal Gull, by K&Ts subsidiary, Trecker Aircraft Corporation.Between 1956 and 1961, Trecker assembled and marketed in North America an Americanized version of the Italian Piaggio P.136, twin-engine amphibian. Production took place at K&Ts General Mitchell Field hangar on Howell Avenue. Our speaker will be Carl Koeling, whose father had led K&Ts corporate aviation department and was its chief pilot.
