This is a closed forum for the benefit of the fixed-wing and helicopter flight schools located at the HMP airport. We will discuss the WINGS Pilot Proficiency Program---how to enroll, earn knowledge and flight credits and establish a regular training program. Discussion will include the CFI's role in encouraging pilot participation the program. Additionally, due to the extensive helicopter training at the local airport, we will discuss helicopter procedures, the flow of helicopter traffic, collision avoidance, and the potential hazards of rotor downwash and mitigation efforts to enhance safety.
