Hearing acuity diminishes over time, and it diminishes with prolonged exposure to noise. Hearing loss can lead to fatigue that can potentially lead to unsafe flying conditions. Clear communications is essential to safe piloting. Have you ever experienced an emergency where Carbon Monoxide was present in your cockpit? This is a major safety concern for pilots of piston aircraft and can result in deadly consequences. This program will present important topics of hearing loss as we age and the use of carbon monoxide detection in aircraft. Viewers will learn about tools pilots can use to improve their hearing, lengthen their career in the cockpit, and gain confidence in hearing critical communications, and protection from carbon monoxide. Presenters will demonstrate the new Lightspeed Aviation Delta Zulu Safety Wearable which addresses both of these pilot concerns.
