WHEN AND HOW INSTRUCTORS SHOULD INTERVENE DURING FLIGHT TRAINING TO PREVENT MISHAPS, AND A SHORT UPDATE ON WEATHER SERVICES This event is open to everyone, not just instructors. If you are thinking of becoming an instructor or simply are curious please consider joining. Deciding when to intervene and in what manner is a skill instructors develop continuously throughout their career. Intervening too often robs students of learning opportunities. Intervening not enough risks an accident, incident, or violating a regulation. In this seminar, we will start with some tips, tricks, and philosophy on interventions. Then, we will walk through typical flight maneuvers with specific suggestions on danger signs and how to be ready to intervene discretely. At the end of this seminar we will provide updates on weather services.
