The airspace south of the Phoenix Metro region is a very congested and heavily used area from F-35s and F-16s in the western side to airline ops on the eastern side, with jump activity, helicopter ops, and training flights in between. In this this 1-1/2 hour seminar FAA Safety Team Lead Representative and Arizona Aviation Safety Advisory Group President, Cary Grant, will discuss the area's "Hot Spots", users, and best practices pilots should be aware of when flying though or using this area for training activities. Organized Hangar Flying . Building Proficiency In General Aviation EAA/VMC Club, through the EAA's global Chapter structure, provides organized "hangar flying" focused on building flying knowledge and skills. The program's network promotes a safety culture through continued education and believes that we develop safety and proficiency through education and real life experience. Monthly meetings offer an opportunity to share in-flight experiences and valuable safety tips. Through the FAA Safety Program, aviation professionals provide informative WINGS presentations.
