The pool training exercises include: Escape from a simulated aircraft submersion Personal floatation device deployment Raft boarding techniques Experience an emergency breathing device You will do the pool elements in your street clothes, so plan accordingly; bring a complete change of clothes, towel, and anything else you choose. For optimum training experience, you are encouraged to view the video titled Surviving on Open Water, located at https://www.faa.gov/pilots/training/airman_education/aircrewsurvivalvideos prior to this training. Pre-registration is necessary, Attendance is limited to 40 participants for the event with registration closing at noon on Wed, April 26.
