08:00 PM - 10:00 PM
KHEF - Manassas Rgnl/Harry P.Davis Field
The Bee-Gee's song Stayin' Alive should be our motto as pilots. As we get older our body changes and it requires more dedication and devotion to maintain good health. EAA/VMC Club, through the EAA's Global Chapter Structure, provides organized "hangar flying" focused on building flying knowledge and skills. Tonight discussion will be a little different as we will discuss the importance of maintaining health good enough to obtain an FAA medical certificate, or Basic Med. The EAA promotes a safety culture through continued education and believes that we develop safety and proficiency through education and real life experience - this includes a focus on our health. Membership in the EAA/VMC Club is encouraged but not required to participate in this meeting. WINGS credit will be awarded to attendees.
