The Superior National Forest Seaplane Base in Ely, MN is home to one the most unique and oldest aviation programs in the U.S. Forest Service. Chief Pilot Henny Jungemann will provide an overview of the program to include history, aircraft, manning, current operations utilizing the current fleet of 3 de Havilland Beavers, and what the future holds. We will discuss Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs) and their use and how to find out more information.
