The webinar will discuss the FAA UAS Detection & Mitigation Systems ARC and deployment of UAS detection and mitigation systems. AUVSI Minnesota is proud to partner with Abigail Smith (FAA), Roy Fuhrmann (Metropolitan Airports Commission), and Michael Robbins (AUVSI) to host a Webinar discussing UAS detection and mitigation (counter-UAS) and important safety considerations for UAS. Our presenters will share some updates on the UAS Detection and Mitigation Systems Aviation Rulemaking Committee (ARC) and some of the work each organization is doing as it relates to UAS detection and mitigation. Abigail Smith is the Executive Director for UAS Security at the FAA, Roy Fuhrmann is the Chief Operating Officer at the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC), and Michael Robbins is the Chief Advocacy Officer at AUVSI.
