SO THERE I WAS . . . . Aviate . . . . Navigate . . . . Communicate . . . . Made it! On the ground! Plane s pretty busted up but I m OK. Where am I? Mountains somewhere but not sure. Getting dark and it s cold for this time of year. Wonder if my old ELT is working? Now what? We will discuss how to prepare for such situations; first by avoidance but when the worst happens how to deal with it in a rational manner. This includes the right mindset, the right training and equipment, and the right priorities.
