In this presentation we ll address recommendations from the General Aviation Joint Steering Committee a government / industry group that analyzes GA accidents and incidents. The Committee feels that improved pilot training in safety risk management, emergency procedures & maneuvers, and human factors can reduce the numbers of fatal GA Loss of Control Accidents. During this interactive meeting we ll be watching video of some common GA activities. We ll get to know a pilot, his family, and some of his associates and we ll go along with them on a flight to a mountain airport in rural Virginia.
