The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) will present information about the Compliance Program. The FAA Compliance Program provides guidance to agency personnel when addressing regulatory noncompliance and other safety concerns. The Compliance Program s objective is to identify safety issues that underlie deviations from standards and ensure effective correction. The presentation will provide an overview of the Compliance Program history and current policy, recent and ongoing activities, and statistics related to the program. The presentation will offer perspectives on the program from inside the FAA, as well as the aviation community, and will demonstrate what the Compliance Program means to you.
