A safety management system (SMS) is not just for large, complex organizations. Its elements can be applied to any type of operation to include small fleets and private operators. Understanding and effectively using risk management principles is integral to the success of any vertical flight operation. This session will explore how to effectively implement a real-world SMS in the everyday work environment. This course is offered at the HAI Rotor Safety Challenge at HELI-EXPO 2024. These sessions are FREE to all HELI-EXPO 2024 registered attendees and exhibitors. Attend at least six Rotor Safety Challenge sessions at HELI-EXPO 2024 and receive a certificate of recognition for completing the 2024 HAI Rotor Safety Challenge.
