KVRB - Vero Beach Muni
On May 3-5 Vero Beach Regional Airport will be the scene of its Biennial Airshow and the U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Team performances. There will be many rotational closures to different sections of the airport and its surrounding area. The Treasure Coast FAA Safety Team is proud to present one of its own, Vero s Airport Director, Todd Scher, to outline how this will be handled both in preparation for aviation activities, the Blues Angels, and afterward. He will review closures, restricted areas and allowable access times for those pilots using the airport. This seminar is essential for all airport users. The facility has an air carrier, flight schools, FBO s and an aircraft manufacturer to coordinate access to runways, hangers, ramps and taxiways. Todd will outline what happens in preparation and during the event in order to assure the safety for all who fly and spectators to the event.
