Flight Instruction Accidents With Fatal Results Giving flight instruction to a brand new student or checking out a student in a new aircraft poses certain risks that we want to talk about during this webinar. In 2021 we had a fatal accident in Wisconsin that occurred during a tailwheel checkout due to a engine failure after takeoff. We will discuss the accident We will discuss what to do in the event of an engine failure We will discuss the added thought process for the flight instructor We will discuss why simulators are such a great tool in the training regime We will have a question and answer session
