Join us at 11:00 a.m. for a presentation about the operations of an FBO from Wings Operations Manager, Derek Isaak.Private pilot with multi and instrument ratings, Derek has been around aviation for over ten years in the FBO industry working for TAC Air as a Professional Line Service Technician (PLST) for seven years, three of those years as a Safety and Training Manager starting at KAMA 2013 and coming to KAPA in 2018. Much of his time at TAC Air was spent gaining a vast amount of knowledge in General Aviation, aircraft ground handling, airport operations, fueling, towing and de-icing of aircraft. As a Safety and Training Manager, Derek was responsible for training brand new PLSTs from the ground up and holding firm on some of the best practices in the FBO and aviation industry. Derek is now the Operations Manager of Exploration of Flight with Wings Over the Rockies continuing his start from a volunteer just three short years ago. He will be discussing what it means to be an PLST out on the flight line, and the safety from the outside of the cockpit perspective.
