VFR - You want to practice crosswind takeoffs and landings and one of Belen s runways is perfectly across the wind. However, two other pilots are set on landing into the wind on the crossing runway. Is there a safe way to fly cross-purposes, or must you simply go with the flow? IFR - Upgrades are expensive, so many of us make do with a mixed panel of old and new technology. That s fine as long as you don t lean too heavily on equipment that s long in the tooth. This flight pushed that limit and put you in a pickle: Press on with a problem or make a high-stakes diversion? Members watch 2 short videos scenarios and discuss how they would respond to the given situations. This is an open forum for free ideas and we all learn from shared experience! All are welcome to join in. With the combined IFR & VFR scenarios' this seminar should be 2 hours long and enhance everyone's education. Prior to attending a safety seminar please review and abide by current CDC, State and Local health guidelines.
