2W6 (St. Mary's County Regional; Class G) and KNHK (NAS Pax River; Class D) are only a few miles apart, and each airport impacts the other's operations. This is an opportunity for GA pilots and US Navy Air Traffic Controllers to open a communications dialogue, share information, and ask questions with the goal of improving safety. Potential topics of mutual interest include: - Improved air traffic deconfliction, particularly when Rwy 14 in use at Pax River NAS - Pax River instrument approaches that bring military traffic directly over 2W6 - Military use of ADS-B Out - Letter of Agreement (LOA) for coordinating use of restricted airspace (R-4007) - Flight Following provided by Patuxent Approach/Departure Bring your questions and comments!
