Pilot Deviations are increasing and severity. We will discuss how to avoid them. Taxiing onto, or crossing, a runway without permission. Landing on the wrong runway or at the wrong airport. Not maintaining a required altitude or heading. All of these are deviations by the pilot that can and must be prevented and any or all of them could lead to a near miss or an accident. During this seminar we will discuss the causes of deviations, how we can be alert and avoid making them and what the result of a deviation could be. We will also review accidents related to a pilot deviation. Pilots of all experience levels are welcome including; Student pilots, Newly Rated pilots, Experienced pilots, Rusty pilots and especially Flight Instructors. Non-pilots that are interested in aviation and aviation safety are also welcome to attend. The WINGS Seminars at Plant City Airport are held as organized "Hangar Flying" with participation by everyone. The primary focus is building a safety consciousness among pilots.
