Leaving the structure of flying at ATC-controlled airports to the seeming chaos of a pilot-controlled airfield puts some pilots in a state of high anxiety. Anthony will address the special circumstances encountered by new and traveling pilots encountering both a towered and a non-towered airport environment with mixed flight school and corporate jet activity. He ll also discuss the intricacies of the IFR/VFR piston and jet traffic mix. Speaker bio: Anthony Greco fulfilled his lifelong dream of becoming a pilot while in college and began instructing at the Lake in the Hills Airport in 1988. He also spent several years flying as a first officer for an international corporation and then left flying for some time to work for a family business. He realized that the most satisfying work he had done was flight instruction and returned to Blue Skies. Anthony is a CFI and MEI, and a Gold Seal flight instructor with more than 5,000 hours, many while instructing. He holds type ratings in the Gulfstream II and IV.
