Ed Oppermann Jr. is a private and instrument rated pilot, previous Guinness World Record holder for take offs & landings in 24 hours, AirLifeLine pilot, Angel Flight pilot, USCG Aircraft Commander, and Presidential Unit Citation Recipient for service during Hurricane Katrina in USCG. In December 1999 he lost 7' of his right wing, half of his right aileron, and also his right main landing gear as the result of a midair collision. He learned even more navigating through the legal / regulatory / FAA / NTSB ramifications that followed. Since then, he has looked at how he flies and his decision-making in a very different way. By his sharing his experiences, we hope everyone can become a better and safer pilot. This is a 1.5 hour program.
