In their ongoing effort to prevent mid-air collisions between general aviation aircraft and high-volume military flight-training activity, Sheppard Air Force Base (SAFB) has enhanced some of their safety procedures as they apply to general aviation. Master Sergeant Christopher Bennett along with Major Candita Bursaw and Captain Steven Bannat will present a local flying safety briefing focusing on areas of increased risk and conflict. MSgt Bennett is in charge of SAFB's Air Traffic Control Standardization and Evaluation. Maj "Rally" Bursaw is the 80th Flying Training Wing Sustainment Officer. And, Capt "Munch" Bannat is the 80th Operations Support Squadron Airspace Manager. Wings credit will be awarded to attendees.
