The AOPA You Can Fly team will present three seminars at an Aviation Day at St. Mary's County Regional Airport, 2W6. To earn WINGS credits, please register using your faasafety.gov email address. Saturday 25th March: 11:00am: Maximum Fun, Minimum Cost: The Wonderful World of Flying Clubs Flying clubs are wonderful ways to share the cost of aircraft ownership and to enjoy the camaraderie of like-minded people. It is not that club members "save money", because they actually fly more, meaning that they are more proficient than sole owners! Furthermore, flying clubs have clearly defined safety programs designed to keep members proficient and safe. In fact, many club use the WINGS pilot proficiency program as the basis of their safety management system. In this seminar, we'll introduce you to the truly wonderful world of flying clubs and will help you find a club near you, or help you start a new one. We'll then develop the idea of WINGS for Flying Clubs. To earn WINGS credit, please register using your faasafety.gov email address. Prior to attending this seminar, please review and abide by current CDC, state, and local health guidelines.
