Flying IFR in a single-pilot environment can be extremely workload intensive. Aram Basmadjian will discuss techniques to make single-pilot IFR safer with an emphasis on procedures and autopilot techniques. Aram is a former airline pilot and current FAA Designated Pilot Examiner who actively flies his own Beechcraft Bonanza. Join us as we discuss how to improve our instrument flying techniques and use of the autopilot to improve risk management, reduce workload and ultimately be a safer instrument pilot.
