The chart clinic will dissect the data contained in IFR charting, exploring nomenclature, symbology s, and standardization of the charting convention. We will discuss how the charted information is developed, organized, and presented, which characterizes the Instrument Flight Procedures that helicopter pilots are likely to encounter. Illumination of high threat areas as they correlate between ATC clearance, charting and avionics automation. We will also discuss digital geo-referenced charting products and how they interface with an Electronic Flight Bag (EFB). This course is offered at the HAI Rotor Safety Challenge at HELI-EXPO 2024. These sessions are FREE to all HELI-EXPO 2024 registered attendees and exhibitors. Attend at least six Rotor Safety Challenge sessions at HELI-EXPO 2024 and receive a certificate of recognition for completing the 2024 HAI Rotor Safety Challenge.
