Automated flight monitoring and weather services play a crucial role in enhancing flight safety by addressing multiple safety challenges 24 hours a day, and ensuring that operational control is always prioritized. This technology assists in making informed go/no-go decisions quickly and accurately, especially in marginal weather conditions, by providing a thorough and precise weather analysis. It s essential to remember that VFR operators should never launch or continue a flight into known instrument meteorological conditions (IMC). These services are designed to prevent high-risk flights from taking off, thereby significantly mitigating flight risks. This course is offered at the HAI Rotor Safety Challenge at HELI-EXPO 2024. These sessions are FREE to all HELI-EXPO 2024 registered attendees and exhibitors. Attend at least six Rotor Safety Challenge sessions at HELI-EXPO 2024 and receive a certificate of recognition for completing the 2024 HAI Rotor Safety Challenge.
