Carrabelle Flying Club Topic of the Month May 2023. How to figure out the best glide speed and configuration to increase the chances of a successful forced landing. Monthly meeting of the Carrabelle Flying Club includes one hour of WINGS program presentations as part of their SAFETY-FIRST effort. This event will cover the GAJSC recommendations for improved pilot knowledge of and proficiency in flying at the best glide speed and configuration to increase the chances of a successful forced landing.
