NOTE; THIS MONTH ONLY, the meeting will be held on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 10, INSTEAD OF TUESDAY, April 9. PLEASE MAKE NOTE OF THIS. Come learn the role of the Long Beach Flight Standards District Office (LGB FSDO) and how they can be a resource for you. This light hearted discussion will give an overview of the services offered by the LGB FSDO along with the various other FAA offices that can provide assistance. Our speaker will be Nate Morrissey who is currently the FAA Safety Team Program Manager at the LGB FSDO. Nate has been with the LGB FSDO for 17 years and is a pilot himself. Nate will also discuss safety issues he sees routinely to include the pilot deviations, the process, what to know, and how to avoid them.
