The Florida Aviation Network hosts the 'Plane Time!' Live Broadcast! Free to Attend! The Florida Aviation Network (FAN) is broadcasting this popular two-hour aviation safety talk show that is recorded "Live". All aspects of aviation could be discussed; however, we plan to emphasize the often-overlooked aviation maintenance side of things. Make time to view and enjoy "Plane Time" - It might even save your life. Watch with a friend! Special guest for this show is Frederick Heid, the superintendent of Polk County Public Schools. In this leadership role, he now oversees one of the 30 largest school districts in the United States and the seventh largest in Florida serving more than 110,000 students (pre-K through 12th grade). The Central Florida Aerospace Academy is located on the SUN n FUN Aerospace Center for Excellence. Central Florida Aerospace Academy of Kathleen High School is a unique career and technical STEM / AVSED public high school academy developed to provide students with an interest in aviation, aerospace, and engineering technologies an opportunity to participate in industry-related electives, earn industry certifications and licenses, and complete dual enrollment/ advanced placement college credit all while completing their high school education.
