This 1 1/2 hour Presentation is Open to the Public. The Presentation starts with a look at Ron Wanttaja s Analysis of Experimental Amateur Accidents from 1990 to 2022, as compared to a Control Group of Standard Aircraft. Once the Main Causes of Experimental Accidents are identified, we will investigate Accident case studies for each, and describe methods to prevent these types of accidents. We will finish by looking at the discrepancies and unsafe conditions found during the inspection of an Amateur Built Aircraft before the issuance of a Special Airworthiness Certificate. The Application was denied until the unsafe conditions are repaired. 1.5 WINGS Credits, or 1.5 Hours of AMT Credit will be awarded for this Event, for those who have created an account at FAASafety.gov.
