Drone Safety Day (DSD) is an annual campaign designed to educate drone users of the importance of flying safely, inspiring fun drone activities and connecting a community of enthusiast. DSD will highlight the societal, economic, and safety benefits of safe drone operations with in-person, virtual, and hybrid events in focus areas such as Education, Economics, Equity, Environment, and Emergencies. This event will feature how become a certified Part 107 UAS Pilot, hobbyist rules, a sessions for certificated manned aircraft pilots to earn their Part 107 Certificate and a live interactive session on drone training. This event is open to the public and geared for middle school, high school, university students and the general public.
