The course uses the framework from the USHST H-SE 127A, and the recommendations of the FAA ACT ARC, to teach the effects of Degraded Visual Environments on the body and methods to recognize conditions favorable for Spatial Disorientation. We will review a number of accidents during the course. This course is offered at the HAI Rotor Safety Challenge at HELI-EXPO 2024. These sessions are FREE to all HELI-EXPO 2024 registered attendees and exhibitors. Attend at least six Rotor Safety Challenge sessions at HELI-EXPO 2024 and receive a certificate of recognition for completing the 2024 HAI Rotor Safety Challenge.
