Instilling a positive safety culture in general aviation starts with embracing, learning from, and sharing our mistakes. The best lessons we can learn are from the mistakes and close calls of ourselves and others in the general aviation community. Modeled after the safety culture in professional aviation and the FAA's Aviation Safety Reporting System (NASA), we invite a "no-fault, let's learn" discussion of near misses, close calls, and other safety-related topics where it becomes a positive learning experience.
