This combo meeting will have two scenarios for discussion. The VMC scenario has a well planned outing to look at historical sites only to be interfered with when an aircraft goes off the runway in front of you. Your timing was right on the money except for this unforeseen event. Now if you delay you will not make it in prior to sunset and you are not night current. The weather is low in fog but sunny skies prevail only a few hundred feet up for your IFR flight. The takeoff goes well until the tower says the baggage door is open right after lift off. What do you do? Prior to attending a safety seminar please review and abide by current CDC, State and Local health guidelines. EAA/VMC Club, through the EAA's global Chapter structure, provides organized "hangar flying" focused on building flying knowledge and skills. The program's network promotes a safety culture through continued education and believes that we develop safety and proficiency through education and real life experience. Monthly meetings offer an opportunity to share in-flight experiences and valuable safety tips. Through the FAA Safety Program, aviation professionals provide informative WINGS presentations.
