The Treasure Coast FAASTeam is proud to host a two-hour seminar presentation by THE UNITED STATES COAST GUARD, Air Station Miami. Please join us as the Coast Guard fly in with a MH-65 Dauphin twin-engine helicopter (actual aircraft may change due to daily mission requirements) around 1630, and answer some questions regarding their aircraft and equipment on the ramp outside of Skyborne Airline Academy (weather permitting). Around 1730, back inside, the crew will provide a briefing of radio procedures, scenarios, Search and Rescue missions, demo equipment, maintenance requirements, answer questions and share survival tips when traveling over open water or uninhabited land. PLEASE NOTE. If USCG are unable to attend due to mission requirements, we will substitute another topic for this evening. The Orlando FSDO-15 FAA Safety Team (FAASTeam), along with your local Treasure Coast FAASTeam, encourages all aviation safety minded individuals to come and join us every third Thursday of the month safety seminars.
