ATC is required to Issue wake turbulence cautionary advisories including the position, altitude if known, and direction of flight to aircraft operating behind an aircraft that requires wake turbulence separation when 1) VFR aircraft not being radar vectored are behind the larger aircraft, 2) IFR aircraft accept a visual approach or visual separation or 3) VFR arriving aircraft that have previously been radar vectored and the vectoring has been discontinued.
